Drip Coffee

This is such a cool place! When I walked in, I felt like I was transported back in time, and I mean that in the best way possible! The ambiance was straight out of a 1970s or 80s movie, and the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. It wasn't the greatest bagel and coffee I've ever had, but it wasn't very expensive so it doesn't really matter. I would 10/10 recommend Drip Coffee, and I'd like to come back with friends soon!

Customer Service: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Affordability: 5 Location: 5 We visited Drip coffee in Columbia, SC a few weeks ago, as we've heard they offer exceptional coffees. This coffee shop is within walking distance from the Five Points Fountain, and there is plenty of metered street parking within walking distance. We decided to grab 1 house blend hot coffee and 1 nitro cold brew coffee to go. The staff was very friendly and helpful with us, as this was our first experience with this coffee shop. The price was very affordable, and we can see why it's so popular with many of the college students.

Super cute coffee shop giving san Francisco vibes. Upbeat but not loud and just well kept/run. The coffee is really delicious and the mocha was on point. It is a slower service mostly due to how many locals hang here. It is a college town so expect to sit a minute or two for your order or you can order ahead for pick up!

I had breakfast around the corner and had time to kill and along my stroll I found this coffee shop next to a gelato shop. When I first entered it was welcoming. Very smooth atmosphere. Coffee smelt great so I got a Carmel macchiato and a fruit bowl. Fruit bowl had cantaloupe, honeydew, and pineapple tossed in lemon juice and honey. Everything was good up until the pineapple tasted as if it was from a can. The coffee was so smooth and not very sugary. I sat at the bar. Place definitely gets busy and the music choice was stellar. The fact that they also have a Vinyl player is amazing. Keep up the work. Have time check it out.

11JUL2024: Whoa, this is the coffee shop you need in your life. I don't drink coffee so i tend to only gravitate towards bakeries. I'm glad i didn't today! Food: I got a Vegan Caprisi Scone. Sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, salt and pepper. It makes you feel happy inside. Service: Only came in for a baked good and the barista noticed my unimpressed face at the coffee menu and guided me to the tea menu instead! The Marsala Chai is delicious. Atmosphere: Great vibes and decor. You will really like this down to earth place.

For me this is where my coffee snob journey started. First off the coffee is exceptionally high quality and their pour over recipe is very dialed in and delicious . The food is outstanding, I've had a few sweets and sandwiches from there and it's outclassed a few restaurants every single time. The staff are incredibly friendly and talkative, and the place has a nice feel to it. But in all fairness I do have a couple complaints. The first being that the place is usually pretty loud thanks to the influx of college students, and the vibe that some people give off isn't very friendly or welcoming. It has a very political vibe if you get what I mean. The second thing isn't their fault and infact they work against it, but the parking here sucks A LOT. Other than those two things though this is a wonderful spot to get a great cup of coffee and hang out.

If you are looking for a great coffee shop with a great vibe and friendly service, this is the place to go. Its so nice and clean with the best music. They have seating indoor and outdoor.
